Notice on Covid-19 Vaccination for Foreigners in Huludao
Huludaowill start appointment-based COVID-19 vaccination for foreigners in the city according to the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council.Huludao will include the foreigners of appropriate ages in the city into the program of getting the domestically-developed COVID-19 vaccine on the basis that they are informed, voluntary and willing to be inoculated at their own costs and bear corresponding risks since April 22, 2021.
1. Age Requirement
At present, the age requirement for foreigners to be vaccinated in Liaoning is 18 years old or above.
At present, the whole virus inactivated vaccine produced in China is used in Liaoning, and 2 doses need to be inoculated in the whole process.
3. Vaccination Booking
Foreigners who wish to vaccinate should pay attention to the notification from their institutions and communities, and carry out vaccination in an orderly manner. In principle, foreigners working in Liaoning make appointments through their institutions, foreign teachers and students in universities make appointments through schools, and other foreigners in Liaoning make appointments through local communities or Liaoshitong APP. After the appointment is successful, each county (city, district) will arrange for foreigners in Liaoning to vaccinate at the nearest designated place according to the local actual situation.
4. Vaccination Costs
Those who have been covered by Huludao’s medical insurance are free of charge by presenting due insurance document on the vaccine taking site. Those who have not been insured should bear the cost of RMB 100 per dose on their own.
5. General Instructions
Please take your Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, passport or valid permit of stay or residence to the vaccination venue. Before inoculation, you will be required to sign a letter of informed consent, disclaimer and other documents according to the given procedures. You should also ensure your personal protection and advise your health status truthfully to the on-site medical professionals so that they will decide if you are suitable for inoculation or not. You should also pay close attention to your health status within 14 days of inoculation and go to hospital promptly for medical advice in case of any adverse response.Although vaccination can produce immunity and effectively reduce the risk of infection, some people may not produce enough antibodies after vaccination, and there is still the risk of infection without establishing an immune barrier. Foreigners are requested to keep good hygiene habits such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently and keeping social distance even after vaccination.Vaccination certificate cannot replace nucleic acid test report. If necessary, foreigners should cooperate with relevant departments for nucleic acid test.
6. Vaccination Certification
After completing the whole vaccination, the vaccination unit shall provide the vaccination certificate to the inoculator.
